The operator of Keilo ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data processed to provide the Keilo platform. Organizers who run tournaments or clubs through Keilo may act as separate controllers for participant data they collect in that context.

Depending on how you use Keilo, we may process:

• Account data: email address and profile information you provide (such as display name, club or player profile fields).
• Activity data: tournament registrations, club membership, match results, rankings, and related metadata you submit or that is generated through play.
• Communications: messages you send us via the Contact page or support channels.
• Technical data: device and usage information needed to secure and operate the service (such as IP address, app version, and diagnostic logs).

We process personal data to:

• Create and manage your account and authenticate you.
• Provide core features (tournaments, clubs, matches, rankings, and related communications).
• Keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix errors.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
• Where applicable, we rely on performance of a contract (providing the service), legitimate interests (security and improvement), or your consent when required.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run Keilo (such as hosting, authentication, email delivery, mapping, or analytics), under contracts that require them to protect data and process it only on our instructions. Some features may open external sites or apps (for example organizer ticketing links); those are governed by the third party's policies, not ours.

We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period.

Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA under GDPR), you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to data portability where applicable. You may also withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, without affecting prior lawful processing.

• You can delete your account and personal data at any time from the Account deletion page (in the Keilo app or on the web).
• For other privacy requests, contact us via the Contact page. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
• You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe our processing violates applicable law.

Account deletion

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Keilo is not directed at children below the age at which they can lawfully consent to data processing in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided us personal data without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the date above. Continued use of Keilo after changes take effect constitutes notice of the updated policy where permitted by law.
